Bettenhausen Automotive of Tinley Park, IL is looking for a Full-Time Service Cashier to join our award winning team.

• Full Time Days: M-F: 7am - 3:30pm

Job Responsibilities:

• Answering and directing main switchboard incoming calls and messages to the appropriate personnel as well as sending follow up messages via email.
• Answer Service Department incoming calls; transferring to advisors and assist with scheduling service appointments for customers.
• Verify service and parts invoices are closed properly with the correct pay codes.
• Receipting monies collected for service repair orders, parts counter tickets, and vehicle sales; Guaranteeing checks through the UTA guarantee system following policy guidelines; Balancing the cash drawer and finalizing the deposit.
• Front desk Sales reception back up coverage for PTO days or unexpected absences; Direct and Assist customers
• Organize and file service invoices and accounting vehicle files and repair orders; purge files when necessary.
• Light lifting.

Job Requirements:

• Team oriented, flexible, and focus on maintaining a high level of customer service.
• Must have a positive attitude.
• Previous Cashier experience preferred.
• Proficient computer skills.
• Accounting knowledge a plus.
• Must have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
