Title: Service Desk Technician
Pay Rate: 25-30/Hr
Position Type: Contract
Location: Elmore, OH
Hours: M-F 8-5 On Site (1-2 days remote)
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Answer, evaluate, log, and prioritize incoming requests for assistance from users experiencing problems with hardware, software, networking, and other computer-related technologies.
- Daily problem recognition, research, isolation, resolution and follow-up for routine user problems, referring more complex problems to supervisor or Tier II technical staff.
- Images PCs, installs software, and peripheral equipment.
- Oversee local IT security, backup, remote access, and other activities as assigned.
- Minimum of two years' experience in Windows PC and server environment required
- Provides first-level network administration support . Practical operating knowledge of Ethernet and WAN technology required
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including being customer-oriented. Update assigned tickets with latest status and continuously communicate to necessary parties, including providing follow-up to the user on the status of the problem until resolution.
- Escalate incidents and service requests to next level support if the issue cannot be resolved.
REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum 5 years of experience on IT Support
- This position requires access to export-controlled information, therefore only US Persons (e.g. US Citizen, US Permanent Resident) may be considered for this position.

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
