We have an excellent opportunity and seeking a consultative problem-solver to drive our Service Line Sales within our Industry+ ( IoT & Engineering practice), which primarily focuses on IoT and ER&D businesses within Cognizant Digital Business and Technology.

We are looking for a sales leader with deep expertise in engineering domains in the Retail, Consumer Goods, Travel & Hospitality Industry. Should have Knowledge in IoT, Product Engineering, Industry 4.0 and experience in driving revenue growth in this space working with Fortune500 organizations. The role requires collaboration with global teams.

Should have consulting experience, thought leadership, relationship management, sales quota attainment, collaboration skills, and excellence in achieving both annual revenue and profitability targets.

Will manage a portfolio of RCGTH accounts for revenue growth, new business identification, and conversion, establish and lead relationships with Existing client stakeholders, and run financial and demand forecasts for your portfolio. You will be responsible for revenue and total contract value growth in IoT & Engineering.

Roles & responsibilities

  • Drive Sales, Business Development & Customer Relationship activities
  • Retail, Consumer Goods, Travel & Hospitality industry focused solution selling (Internet of Things)
  • Achieve annual revenue & profitability targets
  • Work in a matrixed organization
  • Responsible for prospecting and other sales driven activities
  • Collaborate with the vertical teams, develop strong, long-term relationships with client executives
  • Manage end-to-end sales process
  • Craft large end-to-end deals
  • Management of the account plan in consultation with the client partner, investing time in strengthening existing client relationships and strategic new clients
  • Working with Delivery Teams to validate the cost and scope of solutions
  • Leading Proactive proposals and RFP in line with account strategy Work in a matrixed organization, responsible for prospecting and other sales management goals designed
  • Collaboration with industry vertical teams, develop strong, long-term relationships with executives

Experience

  • Proven experience (12 years) with at least 6-8 years in a Business / Sales role in the Engineering industry.
  • Deep awareness of markets, platforms, solutions and offerings in IoT, product engineering, Smart Buildings, Smart Products in retail and manufacturing space.
  • Track the trends/technology adoption in the RCGTH space
  • Work with an ecosystem of partnerships (hyperscale-rs, boutique technology companies, etc.)
  • Strong technical skills with the ability to find technical solutions to business problems and engage the potential customer with “consultative selling” is important
  • Strong oral and written communication skills and executive presentation and persuasion skills
  • Ability to interface at all levels of an organization
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, or equivalent

Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between $150,000 to $220,000.00 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program and commissionable earnings, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
