Service Writer/Advisor - Automotive Repair
Hotchkiss Auto Repair is excited to add a Service Advisor to its team. As a popular 11-bay shop in Denver, it seeks an experienced advisor who maintains excellent people skills and operates successfully in a collaborative team culture.

Responsibilities & Duties

• Prioritize customer service as a relationship-building interaction founded on honesty & transparency
• Supports administrative and operational tasks of the shop including but not limited to marketing, shop organization, vendor management, cleaning, etc.
• Assist with productive dispatching of work based on capacity, capability, and development goals of technicians
• Consistently conducts him/herself with a positive attitude and “lead-by-example” approach

Qualifications

• Five years in the automotive repair industry with at least two years writing service
• ASE Service Consultant certification or equivalent experience
• Extensive knowledge of automotive systems across common makes and models, foreign and domestic
• Recognition for excellent customer service skills via measurable results (CSI, customer reviews, etc.)
• Efficiency and strong organizational skills is necessary to stay ahead of the volume of tickets and shop activity
• Technological proficiency in common business and specialty automotive repair applications including Windows, Microsoft, Tekmetric, Kukui, Identifix, ProDemand, AllData, etc.

Total compensation in year one can range between $55K-$85K with upside once the Service Writer proves their capability and impact on the shop. The majority of compensation will be salary, not commissions. Benefits include health care, PTO, personal days, retirement matching and shop discounts.
