This position works day shift.
Summary
Responsible for a variety of duties involved in the handling, marking, preparing, and maintaining stock levels of resale items. Works in one or more departments within the store (i.e. grocery, warehouse, produce, etc.)
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Front, face, and straighten all products assigned to your aisle. Ensure all stock on the shelf is in a straight line from front to back and from left to right.
- Remove all damaged items and expired merchandise.
- Rotate all stock daily that has an expiration date.
- Stock merchandise on allocated shelf space and display area.
- Other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of warehouse process as it relates to orders. Previous shelf stocking experience helpful.
- Ability to operate a manual pallet jack in a safe manner.
- Ability to match names, numbers and size of items on shelves, counters and storage areas to those in order and price lists to locate items in storage, replenish grocery shelves, and, if necessary, mark with proper price.
Qualifications
Must maintain the ability to pass a criminal background check and random drug screens.
Must maintain a valid Ohio driver's license and driving record acceptable to Goodwill's liability insurance provider.
