Millennium Building Services is searching for a candidate who will support company objectives by exceeding the needs of our clients. This individual will show commitment to ongoing training, professional development, and process improvement. The position entails overseeing the activities of night cleaners as well as being responsible for ensuring daily coverage of duties and monitoring employee schedules. Responsibilities:

• Communicate with the Area Supervisor on account training and client expectations.
• Provide ongoing training and retraining as needed and appropriate.
• Assist in covering employee call-outs
• Provide site specific instructions, guidance, and feedback to cleaning staff as needed.
• Express expectations and objectives to all staff members both written and verbally.
• Assists the Area Supervisor by ensuring timecards are complete and signed by staff by the due date.
• Regularly inspect assigned locations to ensure work performance satisfies corporate and customer quality standards.
• Check equipment on an ongoing and monthly basis to ensure equipment is in good working order and in good condition.
• Monitors supplies available at assigned locations and notifies appropriate individuals to replenish stock
• Ensure staff understand and comply with all MBS policies.

Qualifications:

• Supervising: 1 year (Required)
• Janitorial experience: 1 year (Required)
• Ability to effectively train, instruct, and supervise personnel.
• Perform all duties with professionalism and initiative.
• Ability to cooperate and maintain a respectful relationship with coworkers.
• Must be able to supervise staff to facilitate safety and performance.
• Must have a Valid Driver's License

Pay: $18.00 per hour

Schedule: 8-hour shift

• 7:00 am - 3:30 pm

Status: Hourly (Non-exempt)

Type: Full-time (40 hours / week)

Direct Supervisor: Area Supervisor
