For more information, see our website at www.pannier.com. We have an immediate opening for a Shipping and Receiving Associate at our Glenshaw, PA manufacturing plant. This is an entry level position in which you will be trained to perform shipping duties such as packing and crating of material, loading and unloading carriers, printing shipping labels and tracking shipments .
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Perform a variety of duties to pack and process shipments to customers including:
· Loads and unloads trucks and interfaces with freight carriers.
· Perform local deliveries and pick-ups of materials
· Use hand and power trucks for moving material within plant
· Packs orders to be shipped by various methods.
· Prepares shipping containers as necessary, including crates.
· Contact freight companies for pick-up service.
· Sends shipment tracking information to customers.
· Prepares cartons and pallet loads for shipment by attaching proper shipment documentation. Prepares unit load shipments with stretch wrap or banding.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
· High school diploma or equivalent
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $22.41 per hour
