Excellent opportunity for a Shipping Technician in Scott City, MO. This position works 12-hour shifts and every other weekend.

We offer competitive pay with the starting rate dependent upon experience. We have an excellent benefits package including 100% paid employee health insurance with an effective date of the first of the month following 30 days. Our 401(k) eligibility begins after 6 months of employment, with a match of up to 3%.

MUST have a valid driver's license.

JOB DESCRIPTION

I. Position Purpose

Reporting to the Shipping Manager, this position is responsible for the execution of the plant predetermined load-out and packaging schedule, plant sanitation, material handling and general support of operations.

II. Position Responsibilities and Duties

Performing duties as directed by others to insure the following duties are managed accurately and timely:

Shipping Responsibilities

• Execute the shipping process as directed by the Shipping Supervisor
• Ensuring adherence to packaging, load-out and mill production schedules
• Facility Sanitation
• Utilizing good manufacturing processes
• Prime product and hominy load-out
• Monitor key indicator for quality, productivity, and utilization
• Utilize the IMS and SPC where applicable
• Responsible for quality of work within area
• Maintain work environment in a clean and orderly fashion

Quality, Safety and Sanitation

• Ensure customer specifications and needs are achieved.
• Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices.
• Adhere to HARPC Plan.
• Maintain work area and sanitation level at a BRC AA level.
• Maintain a safe work environment.

Open Communications to be a team-player and do other tasks as necessary.

III. Essential Skills

This position actively engages in daily operations and is engaged in supporting policies and procedures in accordance with the company Vision, Vales and Strategic Objectives.

Education Level: High School Diploma or GED

Preferred Experience: 1 or more years in a manufacturing environment, food grade packaging and load-out operation, team oriented

Physical and Mental Requirements

This position requires physical and mental alertness, attentiveness and stamina for the length of an entire 12 hour work shift each day. Occasional to frequent lifting of 50-100 pounds, frequent changing from a seated to standing position and occasional to frequent stair climbing are all physical demands of this position. This working environment for this position will include occasional to frequent work in both extreme cold and hot weather conditions.

Pay: $17.50 - $18.75 per hour
