Shop Assistant, Level 1:
FarrowTech is a family-run, design and manufacturing company that has been growing steadily since it began in 2017. We relocated from Washington state to Alabama in 2021 and moved to our new warehouse space in 2022. We design and manufacture aluminum and plastic products that we sell directly to consumers online and to other vendors. Products relate to several different industries including competitive and sports shooting and automobile enthusiasts.
We are seeking a part-time shop assistant to finish parts to be ready for assembly. Job duties will include de-powdering and sandblasting nylon parts, moving parts to a dye bath, and packaging finished products. Once trained, we expect the candidate to work independently off of a routine task list and seek help when needed.
HOURS: Currently we need someone who can work 3-4 hours per day, 3 days per week, beginning in the morning. There is some degree of flexibility with the hours/days worked. There may be more hours available at times. There is opportunity for advancement with demonstrated aptitude and dependability.
WAGE: $15 per hour, direct-deposit, paid weekly.
We have paid monthly safety meetings with food, a relaxed work environment, flexible scheduling, and this is a no-stress job!
We require a pre-employment drug and background screening.
We are conveniently located in the Golden Springs area of Anniston.
May not work under the influence of alcohol, sedating medications, or any federally-controlled substances, even if prescribed. Shop and office are on city property - no smoking inside or within 15 feet of the entrances.
