The right candidate will…
The right candidate will have a willingness to learn new skills and improve. Being a team player is essential. All tasks will require close collaboration with co-workers. The goal will be to ensure that production procedures will be carried on smoothly to maximize efficiency. Cross training options & growth are available for the right person.
Responsibilities
- Maintaining your area on the shop floor
- Operate machinery under direct supervision of the production manager
- Moving parts on the shop floor to the correct stations
- Operate power tools
- Milling and sanding for stain, prime and paint prep
- Maintain activity logs at your station
Skills & Abilities
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively
- Ability to lift 50 lbs on occasion
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Attention to detail
- Ability to take direction from your direct supervisor
- Familiarity with woodworking materials and tools is a plus
- Teamwork skills
- Ability to adhere to health and safety regulations provided
- Ability to read a tape measure
- Experience with any woodworking is a plus but not required
- Experience with laminate is a plus but not required
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Tech school background is a plus

Hours: M-F 7:00am- 3:30pm with discretional overtime options
