We are a local non-profit specializing in substance use disorder and are seeking energetic, compassionate, hopeful detox nurses. We have a 16-bed acute/medical withdrawal management program in Snohomish County that is expanding beyond nursing care, ensuring that patients have immediate access to assessment, counseling and treatment referral by discharge. Detox Nurses assist with detox admissions and provide patient care support during detoxification process including pre-screening, obtaining physical assessment data and health history, administering detox treatment plans, monitoring of patient, implementing protocols, administering medications, treatments, and tests. Patient’s length of stay will vary—anywhere from 5-7 days.

Minimum Qualifications

• Washington State Licensed Practical Nurse license
• Washington State Registered Nurse license
• Ability to establish effective working relationships with other staff, patients and referral sources
• Maintain compassion and empathy as well as clear boundaries with patients under the influence of alcohol and other drugs
• Vaccinated against COVID-19
• Valid Washington State Driver’s License, acceptable driving record and be able to operate a company vehicle without restriction
• 1 year detox/withdrawal management experience desired; psychiatric experience a plus
