Important Working Relationships: Operations, Supply Chain, Engineering, HEG Sr. Mgmt.
Directs: Master Scheduler and Project Planner/Coordinator
Primary Responsibility: Ensure Sales, Inventory, Operations Plan (SIOP) is robust and accurate, with effective coordination of inputs from functional areas.
Major Duties:
- Ensure alignment of Master Schedule, Capacity Plan, and Sales Plan/Forecast.
- Ensure the Master Schedule accurately reflects the status and schedule of planned work.
- Ensure the Capacity Plan accurately reflects current and planned capacity by plant and department.
- Ensure the sales forecast is updated monthly to accurately reflect expected revenue by program and by month.
- Provide timely and accurate information to the Director of Operations, highlighting risks and opportunities in the schedule, capacity plan, and sales forecast.
- Participate in the budgeting process by coordinating sales plan inputs with the functional managers.
- Provide leadership to direct reports and develop talent and bench strength to maintain a healthy SIOP.
- Support proposal development with schedule and capacity planning what-if analysis
- Operations management, scheduling, and planning experience. Exceptional data analysis skills including Microsoft Excel.
- Job may require long hours of sitting/computer usage.
