  • INVENTORY MANAGEMENT BACKGROUND
  • Excellent customer service and people skills
  • Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite)
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Experience interacting with and presenting to high-level customer contacts
  • Technical knowledge of cutting tools
  • Knowledge of industrial vending equipment
  • Knowledge of Indirect Material (MRO) buying
  • Demonstrated experience hiring, training and mentoring employees

A typical day may look like this:

  • Oversee the site operations.
  • Make certain that all employees are working safely and are properly trained for the task they are assigned to.
  • Vast interaction with staff i.e.; scheduling, problem solving, and team building.
  • Check attendance.
  • Provide discipline to employees as outlined in the US Tool company handbook.
  • Audit different processes daily to ensure it is being carried out proficiently.
  • Interact with receiving personnel regarding incoming deliveries.
  • Field and address concerns & issues from the customer’s employees.
  • Dedicate time each day for current projects.
  • Interaction with contract administrators to help resolve any issues that have been brought to their attention.
  • Contact with vendors to help buyers resolve an issue or expedite an item.
  • Investigate inventory discrepancies to determine the root cause.
  • Provide excellent customer service.
  • Report daily to the Program Manager any issues, internal or external that they should be made aware of.
  • Interact with customer and vendors regarding project management
  • Assist with developing and submitting quotes as needed
  • Filling customer orders based on department scheduling
  • Other duties assigned by management
