Cashiers are paid a base of $8/hr + tips with a minimum of $12/hr during training and $13/hr once trained. Total compensation often comes to $17/hr+ post-tax after about a month of working here.

Our Cashier/Servers are responsible for and not limited to the following:

- Learning customers' names and speaking professionally and cordially with them.

- Learning the menu and the intricacies of each item.

- Correctly inputting orders into the POS system to assure kitchen success.

- Keeping cashier and guest areas sanitary, organized and attractive. This includes our patio and restrooms.

- Keeping our guest service station sanitary, stocked, and attractive.

While some things can be taught through training and on the job, some qualities will be required to be considered for the position. A great applicant would have the following attributes:

-Outgoing personality; not scared to meet new people, introduce yourself, or start up a conversation with a guest. A large part of your role is to be warm and welcoming making sure our guests know when they come here they will find a friendly face to help them.

-Self-motivated: productive during slow times, actively identifying opportunities to make improvements to yourself and your work environment

-Excellent multitasker: able to prioritize tasks to make the most of every moment and to ensure the guest service station is always stocked.

-Proactive problem solver: Getting ahead of possible errors before they occur. This is achieved by taking proper contact info from guests and repeating their order back to them in detail before sending it through. It also means listening for new info from BOH team about 86'd items or other information.

-Patient communicator: Whether it’s a complicated guest order an issue with the BOH team you should listen intently and respond appropriately. Particularly with the masks in effect, miscommunications are imminent so you need to be acutely tuned in at all times.
