Hanover Terrace has the opportunity for an LPN or RN who would like to work with community providers in the admissions process for our 100-bed Skilled Nurse facility in Hanover, NH. This is one of the most critical roles in the facility. This person is the facility’s marketing, public relations, customer service chief as well as processing and overseeing all admissions. Responsibilities
- Receive and process all referrals
- Verify insurance through all resources
- Obtain all necessary paperwork from Managed Care companies including authorizations and denials for admission
- Communicate with facility, hospitals, and liaisons regarding patient status, availability, and potential admissions.
- Marketing and media campaign efforts.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in Skilled Nursing facility a plus
- Familiarity with medical software and equipment
- Calm demeanor
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Superior verbal and written communication skills
- Understands financials
- High energy
- Ability to work independently
