  • Undertake relevant training on Mountainside's policies and procedures as delivered by management, Human Resources or other departments.
  • Carry out additional responsibilities as individually notified, either through assigned objectives or as directed by management.

Available Schedules:

1) Saturday and Sunday 8:00am - 4:30 pm and Monday to Wednesday 9:30am - 6:00pm, Off Thursday and Friday
2) Saturday to Wednesday: 3:00pm - 11:30pm, Off Thursday and Friday
3) Thursday to Monday 11:00am-7:30pm, Off Tuesday and Wednesday
4) Monday to Friday 11:30pm - 8:00am, Off Saturday and Sunday

Your Role:

  • Comply with all federal, state and accreditation regulatory requirements.
  • Take direction from designated Managers and to communicate in an effective and timely manner to same
  • Adhere to appropriate business attire standards as outlined in Employee Handbook
  • Address day-to-day non-therapeutic needs of clients while maintaining a calm, welcoming and professional demeanor and adherence to established standards for "Best in Class" service
  • Ensure that all client issues, behavioral observations, etc. are documented in EMR with appropriate Clinical language
  • Assist with client requests for miscellaneous items such as towels, access to property lockers, etc.
  • Assist with administration and processing of Utox testing samples, including proper documentation in EMR
  • Assist with taking, documenting, and communicating information regarding client vitals.
  • Immediately communicate to Executive Director, Clinical Director and counselors any behavioral problems or safety concerns which may arise when dealing with clients
  • Perform routine inspections of client rooms, reporting any infractions of Quality-of-Life Guidelines
  • Perform scheduled medication room duties in accordance with Mountainside's medication policies
  • Facilitate program groups and other activities as directed, including documentation in EMR
  • Provide assistance to other team members as necessary to ensure that clients experience an unsurpassed level of service
  • Make frequent rounds to be aware of client activities, give guidance and redirection when needed, to ensure that clients' behaviors are within Mountainside guidelines and to be available for emergency situations
  • Challenge individuals entering the building during shifts for the prevention of drug trafficking and the safety of Mountainside's clients
  • Promote 100% client satisfaction throughout property
  • Ensure that all client related issues are resolved in a manner consistent with the company's goals and objectives
  • Ensure necessary safety protocols are followed during Emergency Situations

Qualifications:

  • Notary Public in CT - Preferred
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent - Required
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • Minimum of one year working in substance abuse or behavioral health setting preferred
  • Minimum of one year working in customer service preferred
  • Proficient in CPR, Heimlich Maneuver, and First Aid

Compensation:

The base rate of pay for this position is $15.00 to $18.00 per hour. Actual pay is determined based on a number of job-related factors including skills, education, training, credentials, experience, scope and complexity of role responsibilities, geographic location, performance, and working conditions.
