Acme Athletics is seeking talented soccer coaches that are excited about the sport and dedicated to making a difference in the lives of young athletes and the community. Coaches will mainly be working with children from ages 3-12. Our coaches provide leadership, supervision, and structured instruction to the athletes. Responsibilities include:

• Conduct yourself in a responsible, moral and professional manner at all times
• Work cooperatively with directors, support staff, and renters of the facility
• Plan and lead training sessions
• Assist with cleaning and organizing the facility and equipment
• Participate in continued education opportunities
• Assist in the idea generation process for Acme Athletics Soccer products - camps, clinics, leagues, tournaments, etc.
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, some holidays, and various shifts, as needed
• Various other duties as assigned, such as community appearances, administrative work, assist with communication, etc.

Requirements:

• Must hold a minimum of a USSF 4v4 Diploma, Foundations of Coaching Diploma, NFHS Coaching Soccer Course, or approved youth license before working directly with children
• Excellent verbal and nonverbal communication skills, including ability to listen and respond appropriately to children and adults
• Professional personal presentation
• Strong work ethic that includes punctuality, organization, and attention to detail
• Team oriented mindset
• Ability to quickly acquire and apply new knowledge and skills and have the ability to maintain a friendly, enthusiastic, and positive attitude
• Willingness to work flexible hours, the ability to multitask, and work well under pressure
• Ability to motivate players, teach the game, and educate players, coaches, parents, and the community

Who We Are: Located in the heart of Clarksville, Acme Athletics is a 50,000 square foot privately owned indoor sports and fitness facility. Community members of all ages are able to engage in various world class activities - complete a workout in the fitness center, challenge yourself in a group exercise class or a personal training session, participate in one of our adult or youth recreational leagues, or observe team training in our stands…it all happens under one roof! Acme Athletics truly serves as the center of the community and provides a safe and fun place for individuals and families to train, play, and grow together.

Pay: $15.00 - $24.00 per hour
