Social Media Coordinator

New York City - Hybrid Position

About the Position:

Do you love social media and helping people? Join our Mountainside team to raise awareness that addiction treatment can save lives and help individuals realize their dreams. We are seeking a talented Social Media Coordinator who not only enjoys creating engaging posts but also analyzing the results of their efforts. You will be responsible for creating daily content across social media platforms in support of marketing and communications, community building, and lead generation efforts. You will thrive in this position if you are someone who enjoys being able to see and touch many different things and see how each part, including yours, contributes value to a greater whole.

Schedule:

Monday through Friday 9am - 5pm

4 days in the NYC Office + 1 day remote

Your Role:

• Create, schedule and publish posts for all social platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, Linkedin and Twitter.
• Manage Google My Business profiles, ensuring quick replies to customer queries.
• Create assets including videos for various social media platforms in partnership with internal creative team.
• Ensure consistency in brand imagery and tone of voice across all social channels.
• Optimize posts with specific tracking URLs and appropriate keyword hashtagging.
• Engage with online community, following and responding to audience.
• Monitor trending topics and discussions.
• Keep current on algorithm changes and social media best practices.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in English, Marketing, Public Relations, Journalism or other communication-oriented study
• 3+ years of professional social media management experience

Compensation:

The base rate of pay for this position is $20 to $30 per hour. Actual pay is determined based on a number of job-related factors including skills, education, training, credentials, experience, scope and complexity of role responsibilities, geographic location, performance, and working conditions.
