Position: Executive Administrative Associate

Location: Montgomery County

SPS Consulting seeks enthusiastic and organized Executive Administrative Associate to support our government customer in the Montgomery County area.

What You’ll Do

  • Improve customer satisfaction/communications by leading the on-time design, production, and distribution of high-quality bus route timetables, 500 neighborhood maps for bus shelters, and station information aids (SIAs) for the Silver Spring Metro Station.
  • Updated timetables and SIAs should be distributed at least one week prior to service changes.
  • Manage the receipt and fulfillment of Public Service Announcement requests, working collaboratively with advertising partners, Vector Media USA and Cumulus Radio (WMAL).
  • Cross train on our social media platforms by taking the Hootsuite University courses, then become a backup for social media marketing.
  • Improve customer service by leading the design, production, and installation of bus cards, palm cards, posters, flyers, and operator notices to improve the quality of our customer perceptions.
  • Within 30 days of changes, update and email all mandatory bus cards (currently 10) to depot contacts, so they can produce and install them.
  • Improve customer service and communications by leading outreach efforts such as the MC Ag Fair, Give and Ride, and 6 to 8 customer appreciation days at transit centers and Metro stations.
  • Lead the recruitment, staffing, and management of Title VI customer advisory groups (TAG and other outreach efforts) to achieve compliance with Title VI requirements.
  • Take meeting minutes and distribute them and assignments within 5 business days of the meetings.

Organizing Training events Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years of administrative assistant experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite.
  • Hootsuite experience preferred but not required.
  • Reliable transportation.

Requirements:

  • Executive level secretarial and/or senior administrative support experience is required.
  • A resourceful and independent worker capable of self-managing their time and tasks.
  • Possess a friendly and courteous demeanor and is able to work with staff and customers.
  • Ability to efficiently operate office equipment, including desktop computers, fax machine, copier and printers.
  • Must have a good understanding of the importance of grammar, and proper sentence structure.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $20.00 per hour
