Software Engineer Job at Publix
Join the Publix Pharmacy Technology team as a Software Engineer or Intermediate Software Engineer where you will play a key role interacting with teams to define and develop architecture, technical requirements, interfaces, & implementation approaches for enterprise level applications. As a member of this technology team, you will be responsible for developing and supporting complex systems including gathering requirements, converting requirements to technical designs, developing solutions, and implementation while collaborating with other technical and business areas. Further duties include creating, debugging, documenting and configuring packages, maintaining system components, and technical and user documentation for new and existing programs. In addition, the position will require rotational 24x7 on-call support.
We are seeking a technical candidate with strong analytical, planning, and problem-solving skills as well as strong writing, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills. The most suitable candidate will be able to communicate effectively with management, peers, technology vendors, and business unit customers.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or other analytical discipline or equivalent experience
- Minimum of one year experience developing and supporting enterprise applications
- Minimum of one year experience leveraging Java 8 or higher version of Java
- Minimum of one year experience in Spring Boot
- Minimum of one year experience with Angular with TypeScript
- Understanding of Software Development Lifecycles (SDLC)
- Experience with Azure DevOps
- Must have excellent communication skills
- Be able to work with minimal supervision within a large corporate environment
