About this Position
As a Software Engineer, you will support design, development, and implementation of technology solutions which help partners achieve their goals. Located in Mueller, we’re recognized as one of the Best Places to Work in Texas. Responsibilities & Qualifications
In this role you will:
Serve on a team to contribute to technology solutions which realize the partners’ product vision and achieve our goals:

  • Work on a product or platform team to complete moderately complex tasks
  • Use TXM enterprise architecture principles and policies to help the team design, configure, test, debug, and implement modern software solutions that meet the needs of partners/customers and consider non-functional and functional requirements
  • Contribute to a culture of collaboration focused on continuous improvement and increased team performance, following DevSecOps best practices to increase security, quality, and performance of implemented solutions
  • Develop collaborative working relationships across IT including other product or platform teams, Enterprise Architecture, Infrastructure & Operations, Security, and the Program Management Office
  • Develop collaborative working relationships across the enterprise, including partners and the Product and Agile Coaching organizations

Required qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education, training, or experience
  • At least 2 years of experience developing and design enterprise-grade scalable applications, Test Driven Development (TTD) and Agile experience is required for the Software Engineer level; at least 4 years of experience is required for the Senior Software Engineer level; or equivalent education, training, or experience

Experience in the following areas:

Programming Languages: C#, Javascript, HTML5, CSS, Java, SQL
Development Frameworks: .Net Core, WPF, MuleSoft, Google Polymer, Java Spring
IDE: Visual Studio, Visual Studio Code, IntelliJ, Eclipse
Integrations: REST, Messaging, Container, SOAP
Databases: NoSQL, Relational
DevOps: GIT, Azure DevOps, AWS
Others: Jira, Confluence

Experience with adapting quickly to existing environments and learning new software technologies

  • Experience with strategic understanding of operational principals and execution methodologies
  • Use C# and object-oriented development experience to research, and develop performing and highly scalable service-oriented enterprise applications based on current technology, trends, and best practices
  • Be part of a collaborative agile team; foster outstanding working relationships that transcend traditional team lines while observing and improving the software development process
  • Be passionate about ensuring quality, through automating unit tests, mocking and by performing and enforcing solid code reviews
  • Build relationships with your fellow employees in our open office environment and be accountable while expecting the same from the other members of the team
