This position will maintain updated troubleshooting and equipment-related documentation and support escalations from the Application Support Team. The role will also review quality of work of Software Engineer I and provide mentoring, training, and escalation support.

What you will do to contribute to the company's success

• Performs implementation of new hardware and/or software as it relates to active Cable One projects.
• Maintains and troubleshoots systems such as applications (custom and 3rd party), reports and/or database logic.
• Provides support and general maintenance and support of third-party applications including communications with vendors.
• Manages and troubleshoots all support tickets escalated by the Software Specialist Team or Software Engineer I.
• Provide escalation monitoring, troubleshooting and resolution of issues escalated from other organizations within Cable One.
• Examines, evaluates, troubleshoots, applications deployed to IT servers.
• Troubleshoots application and interface communications over an IP network.
• Analyzes project requests to estimate time and cost required to accomplish project.
• Works as part of a project team to coordinate software environments and determine project scope and limitations.
• Takes on other duties needed to help drive our Purpose, fulfill our Brand Principles, and abide by our Organization’s Values.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university; or four years related experience with development and programming languages such as .NET or Java; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university preferred.
• Advanced certification in Programming Languages such as .Net or Java preferred
• Intermediate certification in database or operating systems preferred.
• Intermediate experience with Mulesoft preferred
• Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
• Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Must be a self-starter with sound problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Must be flexible and a team player.
• Position may require up to 10% travel.
