Frore Systems is looking for a Software Lead Engineer (the exact level such Staff, Principal, etc., will be determined based on candidate’s knowledge and experience). The successful candidate will:

• Author design specification to match product requirements and algorithms.

• Architect, plan, execute and validate firmware/software with the team.

• Define and implement software Apps with GUIs to activate various features and knobs in the firmware.

• Enhance existing SQA automation frameworks, test plans and testcases.

• Define quality metrics and implement measurements to determine test effectiveness, testing efficiency, and measure the overall quality of the software.

• Ensure high-quality FW/SW release with good release documentation.

• Actively participate in the definition and validation of the Drive System Hardware including MCUs, sensors, etc.

• Analyze, understand and problem-solve sightings and constraints in the Drive System implementation. Continuously improve and maintain the design.

• Define and implement software development process flow to ensure

• Contribute to automation of manufacturing process to improve throughput and quality.

• Lead projects start-to-end with minimal guidance.

The successful candidate will have the following qualifications

· BS/MS/PhD in Engineering with 10+ years of relevant industry experience.

· Demonstrated expertise in C/C++ as applicable to embedded systems.

· Demonstrated expertise in python and GUI Apps.

· Industry experience in delivering robust production quality package.

· In-depth knowledge and experience in QA.

· Good knowledge of standard embedded interfaces such as I2C, SPI, USB, Ethernet, etc.

· Good knowledge of software engineering practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.

· Microsoft .NET experience is a plus.

· Experienced in system bring-up, FW debug tools and Electrical debug tools such as scopes.

· Self-starter, able to ramp-up on code-base with minimal support.

· Good communication and inter-personal skills.
