Tubelite division, is seeking a dynamic, innovative, self-motivated individual, with a proven leadership track record who shows performance with increased company sales margins.
Position Summary:
The Southeastern Sales Manager (RSM) purpose is to develop and guide the strategic direction of the sales territory within our target market. The RSM will ensure established goals for order input, sales volume, throughput margin, accounts receivable, and making certain profit margins are both determined and achieved.
The RSM is also responsible to mentor, train, and support their sales team in significantly increasing the company's presence in architectural product specifications within the sales region. As well as assure their sales team members perform timely quotes, meet sales goals, and practice a high level of professionalism.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Effectively ensures sales territories are developed to deliver the company's short- term and long-term sales goals.
  • Routinely reviews and analyzes the sales team’s performance margins against budget to determine effectiveness.
  • Research, analyze, monitor, and report on the industry and competitors within the markets served.
  • Monitor budgets, product, and sales forecasts as required.
  • Prepare reports and communicate to members of the management team.
  • Ensures the correct human capital, structure, culture, processes, exist within the sales group to successfully obtain corporate sales and profit objectives.
  • Assist the Marketing Group in new sales development, implementation of new sales, and marketing strategies.
  • Develop, train, and support sales representatives in architectural promotion.
  • Conduct weekly conference calls with sales team members.
  • Mentor and foster team sales growth within the sales force, and client services group.
  • Travel with each sales team member to visit clients and architects.
  • Manage and oversee the sales team, implementing corrective action when necessary.
  • Ensures Distributor Partners adhere to outlined policies and procedures.
  • Adheres to established policies, standards, and code of conduct.
  • Actively support corporate initiatives including Lean/Six Sigma and continuous improvement efforts.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree required.
Required Skills, Abilities, and Experience:
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in the commercial building industry.
  • Minimum 2 years of sales management experience, or related management experience.
  • Sales background in architectural product promotion and training required.
  • Demonstrated leadership, analytical skills, communication skills, with excellent superior client orientation is required.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and guidance is required.
  • Valid driver’s license, without restrictions is required.
  • Experience in the building industry with technical understanding of storefront applications and curtainwall systems is strongly preferred.
  • Experience supporting multiple locations and business units is preferred.
  • Comprehension of construction documents, details, sketches, and technical design manuals is preferred.
  • CDT accreditation from the Construction Specifications Institute is preferred.
  • Computer proficiency in Microsoft suite.
  • Ability to travel 75 percent of the time.
  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills with demonstrated superior client orientation.
Physical Requirements:
  • Regularly work in a stationary position, often standing, or sitting for prolonged periods.
  • Regularly moving about to accomplish tasks or moving from one worksite to another.
  • Regular use of repetitive motions that may include the wrists, hands, and/or fingers to reach with hands and arms.
  • Regularly communicate with others to exchange information in person or electronically.
  • Regularly stand, walk, sit, talk or hear, both in person, by telephone, electronic communication platforms.
  • Occasionally stoop, kneel, bend, and crouch.
