We are currently looking for a Spa Coordinator/Receptionist. The ideal candidate is a motivated self-starter with previous spa experience who possesses excellent communication skills and always presents themselves in a polished, professional manner. Work schedule requires possible evenings and alternating Saturdays. In addition to a friendly work environment, we offer generous discounts on services and products.

Position Title: Front Desk Coordinator/Receptionist

Reports to: Business Owners

Employment Status: Full Time

Summary: As the Coordinator you will provide top notch client service in a warm and friendly environment. Primary duties: answering telephones; scheduling and confirming appointments; greeting clients upon arrival; and processing sales transactions. Social media advertising and posting services and specials are required for this position. The Front Desk Coordinator works closely with business owners and all spa staff to ensure an outstanding client experience.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

  • Manage appointment scheduling and confirmation for spa clients. Greet clients and handle incoming and outgoing telephone calls.
  • Ensure client satisfaction by providing excellent customer service. Understand client needs and determine approach for reserving client appointments. Resolve issues such as scheduling conflicts/mishaps and product returns.
  • Be proficient in working spa program to accurately process sales transactions for services and retail items.
  • Aid in the cleanliness of the spa including picking up trash, dusting and whatever is required to keep the reception area looking its best.
  • Build professional relationships with clients and staff.
  • Assist in training new employees.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Ability to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence, and memos in English. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to respond to questions from clients and staff. Ability to communicate using correct grammar. Ability to communicate clearly and concisely in both oral and written form.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

High School Diploma or equivalent required

Retail sales or customer service experience required

Experience with MS Office preferred

Experience with spa scheduling software a plus
