Family Care Health Centers is seeking a full-time experienced Spanish Interpreter to work as an integral role in a growing health care team environment. This position may perform all aspects of the Operations Department, including Operator, Front Desk Receptionist, Appointment Scheduler, Correspondence Clerk, and Medical Records Clerk. FCHC provides the highest quality of health care services to its patients in a dynamic setting. FCHC also provides a culture of teamwork, professionalism and mutual respect. The ideal candidate must be enthusiastic, motivated, hard-working and flexible, be able to multi-task, have a great attitude and thrive in a fast-paced work environment. The Spanish Interpreter in collaboration with the health care team, is accountable for assisting our patients toward their highest level of health. This position reports directly to the Patient Access Manager. This position is required to work a full-time schedule. FCHC is currently operating under a situational mask mandate. ALL employees must meet COVID vaccine, FLU vaccine and PPD screening requirements.

Requirements:

*High School Diploma or GED Certificate required

*Fluent in Spanish required

1+ years of medical office experience or equivalent required

*Ability to type 40 WPM preferred

*Knowledge of medical terminology preferred

*Must possess excellent customer service skills

*Ability to maintain confidentiality

*Ability to function effectively in a high energy and high paced medical practice

*Ability to establish and maintain positive interpersonal relationships with patients and professionals of all disciplines

*Computer literate a must

*Ability to organize and prioritize work tasks
