Sanbornton Central School is hiring Special Education Paraprofessionals for the 2022-2023 school year. Paraprofessionals perform duties that are instructional in nature or deliver direct services to students in conjunction with the Special Education and/or classroom Teacher to implement educational programs and services appropriate to student's needs. Special Education Paraprofessionals are compassionate individuals who provide assistance to students with disabilities, as determined by the IEP team. Level II Paraeducator licensure through the New Hampshire Department of Education is required, or must be obtained within 30 days of employment to comply with federal Title I credential requirements.Application accepted until positions are filledRate of pay: starting at $14.70/hour, $15.70 if Para II CertifiedQualifications: * High school diploma or equivalent* Strong written and oral communication skillsResponsibilities: * Provide assistance to students with a variety of disabilities.* Supervise students in school settings.* Collaborate with special education, regular education teachers, and Administration to coordinate instruction and support for students.
