Special Education Teacher Job at Specialized Assessment & Consulting
Specialized is currently seeking three (3) full-time special education teachers in the Carrollton, Texas area.
SALARY: From $38.40/hr.
LOCATION: Carrollton, Texas 75007
START DATE: Immediate
CASELOAD: Up to 40 hours per week with grade levels K-12
SERVICE MODALITY: In-person
Responsibilities
- Provide instructional services to students who require specially designed instruction
- Services would range from In-Class Support, Co-Teach for Science/Social Studies to Resource ELAR and Math, to self-contained behavior, autism and intellectual disability settings.
- Texas teaching certificate
- Texas certification in Special Education
- Bachelor's degree from a recognized, accredited college or university
- Ability to provide direct/group instructions to students with disabilities.
- Ability to develop lesson plans/instructional material to meet needs of student’s IEP.
- Knowledge of Admission, Review, and Dismissal (ARD) Committee process and Individual Education Plan (IEP) goal setting process and implementation.
- A minimum of 1 year of experience providing special education instructional services for school-aged children.
