Surrounded by vineyards, Michelin-star restaurants and exquisite views in Yountville, our 22-acre haven sits among one the most coveted viticulture regions in the world. We invite our guests to immerse themselves in a redesigned Wine Country experience in a delightfully vino-cultured manner: two luxury hotels with decidedly different personalities – the vibrant Hotel Villagio and its sophisticated counterpart, Vintage House, a chic and tranquil sanctuary. A combined room-count of nearly 200 rooms and suites allows us to create a memorable experience for any occasion!
JOB SUMMARY:
This position reports to the Managing Director at The Estate Yountville. The Special Event Manager is responsible for the overall success of guest facing, public or semipublic, events and activities on the 22-acre estate.
ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Plan and execute all guest facing events and activities- Ensures that events and activities are unique, compelling and add value to every guest's stay
- Create and foster partnerships with local businesses such a wineries, chefs, and artisans
- Engage with hotel guests to promote the events and ensure their success
- Ensures all events are well photographed for ongoing promotion
- Coordinate with all Front Desk, Concierge and Reservation team members to ensure all guests are aware of the events prior to arrival
- Closely tracks event attendance and any revenue generated to quantify success
- Work closely with 3rd party marketing firm to promote the events externally
- Partner with the Town of Yountville to ensure all activities comply with local regulations
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Event planning experience is required
- Hotel experience is strongly preferred
- Ability to work nights, weekends and holidays as needed
