Special Inspector / Construction Inspector
Fenagh Engineering and Testing is seeking ACI Concrete Testing Technicians, ICC Certified, AWS CWI Welding Inspectors, Soils Inspectors, Non-Destructive Testing Technicians with UT & MT to perform routine inspections on several large-scale projects in the New York City area. The position reports out of our New York office, located in Maspeth, NY. The majority of the work will be performed in the field.
General Responsibilities:
· Perform observation and inspection in the field
· Compile daily reports outlining inspections and reporting deficiencies (if any)
· Read and understand specific project plans and specifications
· Communicate with project team regarding project requirements and inspection results
Requirements:
· ICC, ACI, CWI Certifications ASNT NDT Level 2 with UT (Shear waves) & MT
· Minimum 1-2 years of experience
· High School Diploma or equivalent
· General computer knowledge (Excel, Word, PDF)
