JOB SUMMARY
As a member of the PSC team, the Specialist II will report directly to the Nabors Logistics Manager. The Logistics Specialist II is accountable for assisting and ensuring all assigned tasks are completed and operational surface transportation requirements are met. Duties include quoting all modes of trucking, end-to-end oversight of critical movements, providing updates to field personnel when required, tracking of vendor performance data, vendor quarterly performance reviews, maintaining trucking data and KPIs, execute vendor site visits as directed, monitor safety scores for all vendors, attend meetings, attend training, and other duties as directed by the Nabors Logistics Manager.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Complete daily scheduling of trucking.
- Complete daily assignments prescribed by the Manager.
- Assist Manager in meeting the equipment requirements for the field.
- Assist collecting report information.
- Report field support data as required by management.
- Deliver tools and equipment safely to field personnel at various rig locations.
- Foster and maintain a professional attitude and teamwork concept with all fellow members in the entire organization.
- Adapt promptly to changing conditions and priorities.
- Ensure safe working environment for employees.
- Work in accordance with Nabors’ Safety procedures.
- Perform any additional duties assigned by management.
- Build and maintain strong and trusted relationships throughout the organization.
- Research and resolution to time sensitive issues.
- Identify issues and risks.
- Support other logistics activities, as needed.
- Maintains a complete understanding of and adheres to all Nabors policies and processes.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS
- 5-7 years’ experience in similar role.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while paying close attention to details.
- Willing to work after hours when required to complete urgent requirements.
- Computer proficiency in software applications to include MS Word, Excel and Outlook.
- On-call status as assigned by the Manager.
- Ability to travel to remote rig locations and other facilities.
- Demonstrates a strong work ethic and ability to learn.
- Excellent problem solving, decision making, and analytical skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills including written, verbal, and active listening.
- Highly organized and detail oriented.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to see big picture, but also pay strict attention to detail and follow tasks to completion with limited oversight.

- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Business, Supply Chain or related fields (preferred).
- 5 – 7 years of related experience in logistics management or coordination.
