Responsibilities:
The Talent Preboarding Specialist is responsible for supporting the pre-employment hiring process for all Spirit Team Members. The Talent Preboarding Specialist coordinates pre-employment activities and maintains Team Member records to ensure compliance with Spirit Airlines policies and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will be well-organized team player, who can complete tasks with attention to detail and minimal errors.
  • Support HR Compliance Analysts with administrative duties required to successfully onboard a new Team Member, including scanning, copying, filing, coordination of pre-employment activities.
  • Management of employee records for active and terminated Team Members, including execution of document retention policy, filing, and organizing files.
  • Support and execute the I9 verification system and process; maintain process document; the key point of contact and knowledge base for I9 process and visa requirements; drive process improvements across HR teams.
  • Coordinate pre-employment activities for candidates which include, but are not limited to, fingerprinting, criminal background checks, and drug testing.
  • Participate in monthly HR Compliance recruiting and training events, which may require travel throughout the US.
  • Process Team Member name changes.
  • Ensure all safety precautions are followed while performing the work.
  • Follow all policies and Standard Operating Procedures as instructed by Management.
  • Perform any range of special projects, tasks, and other related duties as assigned.
  • May perform other responsibilities as assigned. Responsibilities and duties may change when circumstances dictate (e.g., emergencies change in workload, rush jobs, or technical developments).

Qualifications:
  • Associate's degree or equivalent experience.
  • <1 year of experience.
  • Be able to engage all candidates with the highest standards of personal, professional, and ethical conduct.
  • Basic Microsoft Office Skills, including but not limited to scheduling outlook meetings, responding to candidate inquiries via email, entering candidate data into excel tracker.
  • Domestic & International travel approximately 25% of the time.
  • Exerts up to 10 lbs. of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Involves sitting most of the time but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time.
  • Hybrid.
