GENERAL SUMMARY:

Under limited supervision, provides services to identify, remediate, rehabilitate, and educate individuals who have cognitive, communication and/or swallowing disorders. Encompasses evaluation, treatment, and consultation with the goal being to maximize functional independence. Provides direct or indirect patient care and educational programs to contracting agencies. Adheres to the mission, values and standards of excellence of Hawarden Regional Healthcare in all aspects of job performance.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Graduate of a Speech/Language Pathology program from an accredited ASHA PSB school. Master’s Degree required. Must pass ASHA certification examination and be eligible for CFY or hold CCC-SLP.
• Must have current licensure as a Speech/Language Pathologist by the State of Iowa and State of South Dakota.
• May be requested to travel within the Siouxland region. When assigned to travel, a valid driver's license and proof of insurance will be submitted to manager prior to travel.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $38.60 - $47.00 per hour
