As a key member of the SPS commercial leadership team, you will own the Offering Management Excellence Function across SPS. You will lead/support all aspects of global offering management including new product introduction process, offering roadmaps, training and development of offering management teams and launch excellence for the promotion of SPS growth objectives. You will be required to work extensively with cross-functional teams in the execution of these duties. You will provide guidance and process leadership to business segment teams in the field and have frequent contact with the SPS global leadership team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive vertical market strategies and create cross-SPS solutions that produce incremental growth
  • Understand the different personas within our customers and the business outcomes that resonate with them, and tailor solution messaging accordingly
  • Position software and services as a key part of solution offerings
    Deliver 50% end to end cycle time reduction, 2% YoY New Product Vitality growth and grow New Product Introduction (NPI) revenue contribution to 30+%.
  • Partner with CTO organization to drive innovation agenda across SPS leading to significant increase in “Brand New” NPIs that are addressing new markets/customers or leveraging new solutions approaches.
  • Own and lead the development and ongoing adjustment of global Product Master architecture
  • Assess and coach the organization on development needs across the business
  • Identify, develop, and scale best practices across offering managers within the SPS businesses
  • Develop key tools and processed to keep speed and focus in the new product introduction process

Other Responsibilities:

  • Develop effective market-back offer plans: market assessment, customer segmentation, value proposition, offer design and value-based pricing
  • Develop balanced portfolios with focus on growing NPI and effective execution of NPIs including commercial readiness
  • Deliver marketing plan: objectives and strategies, marketing activities, prioritizing marketing initiatives, sales readiness, measurement and tracking
  • Act as change agent to transform organization form waterfall to agile process
  • Ensure Commercial Launch success
  • Ensure training material is complete for all new products before launch
  • Consistently track and measure offering excellence and NPI impact

Must Have:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 8+ years managing a complex product portfolio offering with focus on solutions offerings

  • BS in Marketing, Finance or Engineering; MBA preferred
  • Proven ability to drive change through influence and example in a matrixed organizational structure.
  • Experience working in a highly matrixed environment and leading through influence
  • Ability to develop strong partnerships and a collaborative, teaming environment across functional organizations and geographical regions
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including assertiveness, impactful communication style with ability to influence actions/business decisions, high energy level with a bias for action, high credibility/respect from colleagues and customers, and a positive, gets-things-done attitude.
  • Ability to apply sound judgment and prioritize complex day-to-day tasks and annual planning processes
  • Sound business acumen and financial expertise
  • Independent with ability to work productively with minimal direct supervision
  • Experience in defining, implementing, and tracking processes and management operating system to improve organizational efficiency
  • Excellent time management, organization, and prioritization skills. Able to drive multiple projects simultaneously
