How will you make an impact?

Bring your technical expertise, marketing, and customer skills together to develop business for a large portfolio as well as a new, innovative mass spectrometry technology. Engage with a globally distributed and growing team to deliver traditional and innovative technology to customers across many markets - including Pharma & Biotech and Academic & Government. Make a difference by aligning with our sales and instrument services partners to deliver an outstanding Thermo Fisher experience for our customers.

What will you do?

• Work closely with global managers and directors to develop and implement the strategy to enable growth in Life Sciences Mass Spectrometry

• Ensure key performance metrics, including customer satisfaction, AOP targets, technical skills and department efficiency are met or exceeded

• Address technical and customer issues and provide direct customer feedback to product management

• Participate systematically to improve the execution, quality and consistency of products across the global business

• Partner with commercial teams in forming strategies and relationships with key accounts, identifying new business opportunities and developing and promoting solutions across the Life Sciences Mass Spectrometry portfolio

• Champion customer, colleagues and engagement and drive accretive Employee Involvement Survey (EIS) scores

How will you get here?

Education & Experience:

• 4 plus years of experience. Minimum of Bachelor’s or Master’s degree. PhD preferred

• Shown experience with life sciences mass spectrometry, preferably with Thermo Scientific platforms

• Strong technical background from relevant target markets - inclusive of Proteomics and BioPharma

• Proven customer-first mentality with passion and excitement for understanding their needs and developing collaborations

• Strong customer engagement skills with a focus on removing roadblocks in a highly matrixed environment

• Exhibit an analytical approach towards conflict resolution with excellent written and oral communication skills and the ability to influence

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced matrix organization

• Up to 75% domestic and international travel
