Sr. Project Manager (Westwego, La) Job at Engineering & Inspection Services
EIS is currently seeking experienced Project Manager to support a client in the Greater New Orleans area. The ideal candidates will have at least 5 years of experience and have a background in Engineering (Mechanical or Chemical) required. Previous refinery or chemical manufacturing experience is a HUGE plus!

About the Position
- Facilitates and contributes to the development of project plans and designs.
- Oversees field construction.
- Recommends and/or analyzes company practices/procedures used in the project.
- Evaluates progress of projects.
- Collaborates with design group to change plans if problems arise.
- Prepares periodic progress and cost reports for leadership.
- Provides monthly & end of year forecasts for projects.
- Work closely with Operations & Maintenance for project design reviews.
- Ensures compliance with codes, guidelines, best practices, and policies.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills/ Abilities:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proactive and shows initiative to anticipate client needs as required.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Proficient with SAP.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering discipline preferred.
- At least five years of experience in project engineering in the petrochemical industry required.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Client allows flexible work schedule (9-80’s).
