Sr R & D Test Engineer Job at Experis
We are hiring for a Senior Research and Design (R&D) Test Engineer for one of our premier clients in the greater Cleveland, OH area. This position is providing 5-10 years of expertise in the areas of hydraulic systems, electronics/electromechanical motor controls and/or test controls.

Key Duties and Qualifications:
- Develop complex test lab components, processes and systems required to evaluate and validate new MSG technologies.
- Develop plans and budgets required to support project related activities, continuous improvement initiatives and capital equipment projects.
- Technical lead of Work Function, EM component and work bench integration labs
- Oversee all new test, fixture design and fabrication
- Coordinate total lab team and equipment resources required to support project activities
- Mentor junior test resources.
- Establish and implement short/long-term improvement plans for all labs
- Develop and manage yearly capex budgets
- Establish and implement standard approaches for DAQ, instrumentation, power supplies, hydraulic circuits, EM dynos, EMI, CAN bus implementation, cooling, etc.
- Manage and execute purchasing of all test POs
- Bachelor's degree or Professional Engineer certificate, in engineering or a science technical discipline.
- Minimum of 5+ years of related experience
- Subject matter expert in at least one of the following areas: hydraulic systems, electronics/electromechanical motor controls, test system DAQ/controls
- Working knowledge of Labview (or equivalent) based test environment including data acquisition, sensors, communication and controls.
