Overview:
Hybrid schedule on site in Somerset, NJ on Tuesdays and Thursdays, with remote on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.

The Sr. Recruiter is a consultative partner in building and executing staffing strategies with hiring managers and HR colleagues primarily for US Commercial roles. By proactively identifying talent pools, building networks, promoting our brand/s, and creating an exceptional candidate experience, the Sr. Recruiter plays a significant role in shaping the future of talent at Demant.
Responsibilities:
  • Align with hiring managers and consult on skills and competencies required for the position.
  • Identify qualified candidates with appropriate positions and work with them through the selection process.
  • Initiate all primary screening of both internal and external candidates using both skill qualifiers and behavioral based interviewing questions.
  • Provide key stakeholders with qualified candidate evaluations for their review and coordinates next steps as it relates to interviews.
  • Evaluate, negotiate and manage all staffing vendors and terms of agreement/s.
  • Conduct market research, develop competitive intelligence and on industry trends and developments.
  • This role will also be responsible for identifying and championing diversity and outreach initiatives. Maintains all critical information in employment systems for EEO/ Affirmative Action Planning.
  • Responsible for working with key stakeholders to generate competitive offers, initiate the written offer, background and new hire paperwork process to facilitate and complete the onboarding process.
  • Partner with other divisional recruiters to share best practices and talent.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a recruitment capacity is strongly preferred.
  • Experience working with iCIMS, Success Factors, or other applicant tracking system is preferred.
  • Experience recruiting for Commercial roles highly preferred (sales, marketing, business development, training, etc.)
  • Creative talent identification capabilities and techniques, including using the internet and social media resources/platforms is strongly preferred.
  • Comfort using MS Office suite of products.
  • Demonstrate strong presentation skills and the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner.
  • Strong organization, attention to detail, and time management skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communications required
  • Ability to manage multiple projects with multiple partners simultaneously with a sense of urgency.
  • Strong aptitude for learning and drive for career growth.
