Sr. Regional Director - Northwest and Central Regions Job at Allied Universal® Event Services
Allied Universal Event Services is looking to hire a Sr. Regional Director based in either WA or CO to oversee the Northwest and Central US. Pay range is $100,000 to $125,000 per year DOE.
SUMMARY:
This position is responsible for overseeing the event security and guest services business operations throughout a designated region. The Sr. Regional Director will manage and direct all operational, financial, administrative, client relations, and staff activities while overseeing a large, growing P&L. The sr. Regional Director will oversee Branch Managers responsible for total PNL performance to include sales and operations within their region. Functional leaders overseeing recruiting, HR, scheduling, training, and compliance will also report on a dotted line to the Sr. Regional Director in their respective region. The individual will build and retain profitable business growth, which also includes leading the delivery of services through a team led by local account and branch management. They will ensure strong client relationships and retention, along with operating compliance and efficient business operations.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Those duties necessary to meet the minimum requirements of the position. Other duties may be assigned:
- Ensure delivery of world class customer service to all clients while managing client relations, new job startups/transitions of new accounts, and employee relations.
- Manage day to day operations of the region down to the branch, including coaching, developing, and guiding the branch team to perform efficiently and effectively.
- Implement and monitor ongoing compliance with all company-wide programs, such as licensing, investigations (employee and general liability/auto), employee benefit programs, branch office procedures, resource policies, employee coaching/discipline, etc.
- Responsible for region profitability: overseeing control of all financial impacts to the region, including holding branch management accountability with event specific profitability, resource identification/utilization, unbilled overtime, and training expenses.
- Assist the President in planning on both a short-term and long-term basis, for future operational growth and expansion.
- Direct and administer the core event security operations of the region, providing guidance and support on all operational issues related to client relations (payroll and billing resolution, recruiting, and hiring, service issues, etc.).
- Oversee and manage operational and financial functions including payroll, billing, accounts receivable, scheduling, recruiting, training, etc. for the region.
- Generate new business through partnership with Event Services Sales Leadership

- Bachelor’s Degree is desired plus at least 7 years of general management experience in the event security and guest services / crowd management services industry.
- Prior contract or proprietary security services, related service industry, law enforcement, and/or military experience is highly desired.
- Highly effective leader with the ability to build strong relationships internally with all levels of the organization and manage under difficult service delivery timeframes.

- Demonstrated ability to take initiative, successfully handle and prioritize multiple competing assignments and effectively manage deadlines.

- Current state driver’s license, clean driving record (no points in prior 3 years), minimum level of insurance as required by Company policy, and ability to safely operate a vehicle required.
- Professional, articulate and able to use good independent judgment and discretion.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills required. Ability to successfully interact at all levels of the organization, including with clients, while functioning as a team player required.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use both hands, is frequently required to stand, sit, stoop, talk and hear (communicate verbally in person and via regular telephone equipment), and must be able to read computer screens, correspondence and reports in English.
- The employee must constantly walk, stand, reach with both hands and arms, and must be able to drive a vehicle. The employee may occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. May be required to climb stairs on an intermittent basis at client sites.
- The job is generally performed in an office setting; however, during site visits the employee may be subject to adverse conditions such as rain, cold or heat for short periods of time.
- The ambient noise level is usually quiet, consisting of normal conversations, business machines (copiers, printers, etc.) and telephones, but occasionally may be above-normal for portions of the shift.
- The employee must be able to concentrate on details, work under deadline pressures, apply sound logic and judgment, and prioritize tasks and responsibilities.
- Must be able to focus and multi-task in a busy environment, with the ability to successfully handle stressful situations in a calm and professional manner. Includes being able to effectively manage multiple employees with diverse personalities and engage them to perform at optimum levels.
- Must be able to clearly speak, read and write English.
