Cabinetworks has an immediate opening for a Transportation Procurement - Data Analyst at our Corporate headquarters!

Responsible for the management of carrier/service provider procurement and service agreements, measurement and reporting of the transportation network performance through P&L and KPIs, freight audit and pay responsibilities, and leading direct reports to company initiatives.

PRINCIPAL FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage, hire, train, further develop, and provide performance feedback to subordinates
  • Coordinate and lead RFP/procurement activities and analytics in various modes across the organization to achieve best cost and service solutions to the Logistics network
  • Develop and maintain statements of work, service agreements, pricing documents, contract awards, and other materials related to service providers within the Logistics Department
  • Responsible for departmental reports to the finance area of the organization
  • Report on spend performance and accrual by transportation mode through documented freight audit and pay methods
  • Evaluate, quantify, and present opportunities within Logistics spend, service performance, and other key performance measures
  • Assist in cost and service performance through root cause analysis and alternative solution development recommendations across key stakeholders
  • Update internal databases with information as required
  • Develop and manage a culture of discipline to consistently deliver superior safety, quality, delivery, cost, and operational performance through continuous improvement.
  • Create, manage, maintain KPIs
  • Participate in budget planning and performance results
  • Lead, participate in, and execute continuous improvement activities including meetings and value stream mapping events

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, statistics, logistics/supply chain, or related field
  • Five (5) years previous supervision experience within an administrative and or manufacturing environment
  • Ten (10) years or more in data analytics related roles
  • Superior proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proven experience with contracts and negotiations
  • Experience in lean tool knowledge and application
  • Fundamental knowledge and experience in Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen activities and Six Sigma processes
  • Demonstrated successful leadership, including personnel and organization development
  • Demonstrated ability to build encouraging partnerships within a department and organization
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact with external customers
  • Ability to function at a high level of effectiveness, flexibility, independence, and initiative without daily interaction with management
  • Demonstrated successful capability to resolve conflict over sensitive or complex issues

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

  • Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) or other system certification
  • Problem-solving certification (Six Sigma)
  • Prior ERP and OTM experience
  • Ten (10) years previous supervision experience within an administrative and or manufacturing environment
  • Fifteen (15) years or more in data analytics related roles
  • MBA
