Staff Accountant - Accounts Payable Job at London Financial
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
- Performing all basic accounting procedures, financial statement preparation, month end closing, journal entries and general ledger maintenance, inventory roll forwards and preparing supporting schedules for financial statements preparation
- Analyze and reconcile general ledger accounts and bank statements.
- Preparing Accounts Payable accruals at month end and ensuring all other accruals are complete.
- Maintain and record fixed assets.
- Act as a liaison for vendors to reconcile any billing discrepancies.
- Month-end and year-end closing
- Accurately entering debits and credits into accounting software/database
- Updating financial Excel spreadsheets
- Ensures employer identification numbers or social security numbers have been collected from all vendors to prepare and submit 1099s.
- Ensures proper maintenance, filing, and storage of records in case of audits.
- Producing financial data for management team upon request and assisting with other special accounting projects from time to time
- Confirming the accuracy of accounting database information
Job Types: Full-time, Temporary
Pay: $28.00 - $31.00 per hour
