Founded in 1975 by Ed Wolak, The Wolak Group is an independent franchisee network that owns and operates over 95 Dunkin restaurants in Maine, New Hampshire and New York. We are currently seeking motivated candidates for our Staff Bookkeeper position located at our Corporate Office in Falmouth, Maine.

As a Staff Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for performing accounting and bookkeeping functions for the company, including financial reporting, payroll, budgeting, account reconciliation, processing Accounts payable and Accounts receivable, etc. You will play an integral role in controlling expenses through analysis and verification of invoices and expense reports, while also ensuring compliance with all tax and government regulations.

Additional required skills and abilities:

• Strong organizational skills with ability to multitask and prioritize deadlines in a fast-paced ever-changing environment
• Must maintain a level of flexibility to tackle new projects and initiatives in a creative and efficient way
• Passion for innovation, continuous improvement, and evolution

Position Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in business, accounting or equivalent preferred
• Knowledge of accounting procedures, including GAAP
• Ability to use Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and ability to learn new programs
• Hands-on experience with Sage accounting software preferred
