Seeking-Full Time Physical Therapists to Join our staff!

Physical Therapy for Women Lymphedema & Pelvic Rehab Center is an outpatient private practice located in Wilmington, North Carolina. We are looking for 3 additional PTs to join our staff! Whether you are looking to specialize in pelvic health (adult or pediatric), cancer rehab/lymphedema, or orthopedics, we would love to discuss the opportunities available at PT for Women!

PTFW began in 2001 and expanded in September 2015 into our new facility just 1-mile from beautiful Wrightsville Beach! Our practice has expanded to provide care to women throughout the lifespan, and also the male and pediatric population. Our practice provides general physical therapy as well as specializing in Pelvic Floor Dysfunctions and Cancer/Lymphedema management. We have separate treatment rooms for male/female patients as well as completely separate gym spaces to provide an ideal healing/rehab environment for each patient.

We provide a comprehensive level of care for:

• Pelvic Floor Dysfunction: Urinary/Bowel Incontinence, pelvic pain
• Osteoporosis
• Cancer Rehab
• Lymphedema Education/Prevention/Management
• Prenatal- Postpartum
• Pediatric Bowel/Bladder
• Post-surgical/Orthopedic

We currently have 7 PTs and 2 PTAs for clinical staff and are seeking 3 additional PT's to join our team. We are hiring candidates with experience or strong interest in:

• Pelvic Floor Rehab
• Oncology and Lymphedema Management
• Orthopedics

The staff at PTFW is extremely team-oriented, motivated and provides a very rewarding and supportive work environment. We are always looking to expand our clinic and add additional services. We have 5 Certified Lymphedema Therapists on staff, 5 Therapists trained in Dry Needling techniques, 1 APTA board certified Orthopedic Specialist, 1 LANA Certified Therapist and 1 APTA board certified Women's Health Specialist.

We provide significant education to our community through health fairs, presenting at various luncheons, and attending support groups/fitness organizations. Our staff routinely presents CME’s within the medical field as well as to Physicians, nurses, and midwives. Required Skills:

Applicants must have or be eligible for PT license in North Carolina .
Experience preferred. Must have experience or strong interest in Pelvic Health population, Cancer Rehab/Lymphedema Management OR Orthopedics!

Successful completion of Herman and Wallace Pelvic Floor Level 1 course OR APTA Pelvic Floor level 1 course prior to hiring start date if filling Pelvic Health staff position.
Training for Lymphedema staff position to be discussed specifically with appropriate candidates.
