Position Summary
The Staffing Specialist is responsible for coordinating the daily schedules for assigned caregivers and clients. This role will ensure that all shifts are staffed accurately, and appropriately and will work to drive high-quality service to our caregivers and the clients they support.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Staffs cases as determined by the stated needs of the client, the caregivers' skills, experience, and availability
  • Understands and adheres to established Company policies and procedures related to staffing and other matters
  • Follows any applicable state, federal or local home care regulations
  • Schedules client visits according to care plans and staff availability
  • Contacts caregivers regarding day-to-day changes in scheduling
  • As directed contact Clients regarding schedule changes
  • Responsible for making sure that the caregiver is matched to client care plan and is fully aware of required skills and duties, including, urgent needs and expectations
  • Responsible for properly entering client and caregiver scheduling information into appropriate systems and updating as necessary
  • Ensures that accurate schedules for caregivers are finalized daily
  • Notify Caregiver Ambassadors when finalized schedules and payroll information is ready for submission
  • Refers escalated issues to the caregiver supervisor, including performance issues, investigations, and high-level HR concerns
  • Ensures excellent service to caregivers and clients
  • Performs general office duties
  • On-call and after-hours support as needed
  • Additional duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
  • Associate Degree or equivalent years of training or work experience
  • One (1) year of scheduling experience in a health care or human services setting using an online scheduling system is preferred
  • Ability to multi-task, work under pressure with changing priorities and stated deadlines, and effectively handle a heavy workload
  • Ability to effectively communicate, both orally and in writing, with clinical and non-clinical personnel
  • Proficient in current company software programs
