State High Thespians Spring Musical Positions Job at State College Area School District
The State College Area School District is accepting applications for those interested in supporting the State High School Thespians 2022-2023 season.
The following extra-duty, extra-pay positions are available:
Thespian Choreographer - Spring 2023 Musical
- Prepare, teach and rehearse show choreography with the cast and train and supervise student dance captains and student assistant choreographers.
- Some Saturday work will be needed to complete each set and run the show.
Thespian Set Construction Director – Spring 2023 Musical
- Plan the construction of set pieces, procure materials, teach, supervise and work with students to construct the set.
- Work with the Artistic Director to assist in the design and artistic work for the show, including props and other artistic needs.
- Some Saturday work will be needed to complete each set and run the show.
Thespian Technical Director – Spring 2023 Musical
- Work collaboratively with SCASD’s IT department to plan and design the spring musical’s lights and sound.
- Teach, supervise and work with students with the lights and sound design.
- Assist with operations of the lights and sound, as appropriate.
- Work with the Artistic Director to assist in the design and artistic work for the musical.
- Some Saturday work will be needed for the run of the show.
Thespian Artistic Director – Spring 2023 Musical
- This person will work with the Set Construction/Technical Director to assist in the design and artistic work for the show, including props and other artistic needs.
- Designing sets and scenes.
- Overseeing and training students in painting and developing the set, drops, and props.
- Some Saturday work will be needed for the run of the show.
