Primary Instructor (RN) / Clinical Instructor (RN/LPN)

Paradigm Health Services’ Nurse Aide Training & Competency Programs focus on students’ individual needs, working collaboratively with team members to provide the best nurse aide training in the Cincinnati, Ohio area; preparing students to serve elderly residents by offering quality, compassionate care.

Responsibilities will include:

• Collaborate with the Program Coordinator and fellow instructors to develop lesson plans and plans for clinical education.
• Serve as a resource and mentor for other NATCEP instructors.
• Serve as a resource to students, even when it is necessary to go above and beyond the norm, reaching “outside the box” to ensure a student’s holistic success.
• Review statistics of each class he/she serves as an instructor for.
• Delivering the best in NATCEP education, promoting a fun, friendly, and professional learning environment.
• Adopt the company motto, “If it doesn’t exhibit excellence, it isn’t good enough!”

Qualifications:

• Active and unencumbered license as a Registered Nurse or a Licensed Practical Nurse
• If RN, at least two years of experience caring for the elderly or chronically ill.
• If LPN, at least two years of nursing home experience.
• Ohio unexpired Train-the-Trainer certification (or willing to obtain if Primary Instructor)
• Ability to communicate & relate to a diverse group of students simultaneously.
• Creative mind, being able to develop and implement creative and innovative teaching ideas.
• Must deliver exceptional customer service at all times.
• Organizational skills a must.
• Communication skills must be intact.
• Experience in hybrid education, preferred.
• Experience in NATCEP education, preferred.
• Must be comfortable working in an antonymous environment.

Job Types: Part-time, Contract

Pay: $30.00 - $36.00 per hour

COVID-19 considerations:
To keep our students and instructors safe, COVID-19 screenings are done each day a face-to-face encounter is had. Positive screenings will prevent admittance to the classroom/lab/clinical areas. Masks are worn at all times during class.
