Stock Clerk (Temp) Job at TECH SYSTEMS INC
JOB DESCRIPTION: Receive, store and issue equipment, materials, merchandise or tools and compile stock in a stock or storeroom. Responsibilities include checking incoming orders, storing supplies, and applying identification to articles, issuing supplies, taking periodic or perpetual inventory, preparing necessary reports, requesting or ordering supplies when needed. Knowledge of the Army supply warehouse system, SSA and CRP operations preferred. May be cross-utilized in other job areas to meet contract requirements as necessary.
Additional duties may be assigned to support contract requirements in a job-related area such as environmental, safety and security.
Physical requirements include (but are not limited to) the ability to lift 50+ lbs., pushing, pulling, carrying, stooping, bending, squatting, and reaching. Will be expected to participate in warehouse maintenance and/or clean-up of work-related areas. Must be able to work overtime when required. Must have a valid driver’s license.
Must be able to work overtime, obtain a favorable security background clearance and possess a valid driver’s license.
Qualifications: High school diploma and three years of applicable experience. Working knowledge of Windows and Level I (basic) proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (i.e. Microsoft word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint etc.).
Must be a U.S. citizen. Paid relocation assistance is not available. Candidates must currently reside within commuting distance or clearly state a willingness to relocate his or herself.
