We are seeking a Store Supervisor / Server to join our team at Morelia Gourmet Paletas! You will be responsible for supervisoing our store operations, serving our gourmet paletas (ice cream bars), and performing other related activities that are crucial for our everyday operation.

Responsibilities:

• Welcome our guests with a serviceable attitude.
• Explain our products, customization options, and promotions.
• Execute upsell strategy with consistency and professionalism.
• Prepare and serve our Paletas in a hygienic and careful manner, in compliance with food handling regulations.
• Follow established processes for cash/POS operations.
• Maintain supplies organized and equipment clean at all times.
• Maintain guest and work areas, including restroom and storage room, clean at all times.
• Maintain food preparation surfaces clean according to food safety regulations at all times.
• Inventory management (paletas and shop supplies).
• Handling staff scheduling requests.
• Training of new employees.
• Continued training and coaching of Shop Attendants.

Qualifications:

• Prior supervisory experience.
• Prior customer service experience.
• Punctuality and reliability.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to educate customers about our products and promotions.
• Ability to prioritize hygiene and personal presentation.
• Ability to work in a clean, sanitary, and organized manner.
• Ability to lift/carry up to 30 Lb.
• Ability to clean the shop's premises in its entirety, including restrooms and outdoor guest areas.
• Availability to work on weekends, nights, and holidays.
• Leadership Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Basic proficiency using computer systems (Windows OS, Internet Browser).
• Basic proficiency using spreadsheet applications (Google Sheets, MS Excel).

Desirable but not restrictive:

• Prior food handling experience.
• Bilingual (Spanish)
