Collins Aerospace is looking for a Storeroom / Receiving Clerk to join the team. Activities include applying advanced skills in the execution of existing procedures, techniques, tools, materials, and/or equipment to receiving team members and adapting new procedures and techniques.

This position will be located onsite in Foley, AL.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Receive parts into Storeroom and ensure accuracy (i.e. quantity)
  • Responsible for picking parts for jobs
  • Maintains inventory records to ensure accuracy/compliance
  • Return parts into inventory
  • Monitor inventory and reorder stock supplies as needed
  • Stock parts/paints, and chemicals
  • Responsible for ensuring seal station is clean, organized and stocked at all times.
  • Read and interpret blueprint specifications, SRM’s and shop orders to determine area to be sealed and painted.
  • Conduct cycle counting to facilitate the accuracy and integrity of inventory items.
  • Use Point of Use (POU) set-up and management of stock within designated areas of control.
  • Attend team meetings and provide updates as needed in relation to department Key Performance Indicators and continuous improvement opportunities.
  • Compliance with all company policies and procedures is required.
  • Accurate, safe and timely loading/unloading of transport vehicles.
  • Receive parts into stock from internal/external suppliers ensuring documentation complies with all regulatory compliance requirements.
  • Performs other duties as required.


Basic Qualifications:

  • Typically requires HS Diploma or AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience
  • Must be a U.S. Person/Permanent Resident “Green Card” holder

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills.
  • Experience using an ERP system (SAP preferred)
  • Must be a self-starter with the ability to multitask effectively, plan and prioritize workload.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and work effectively with customers.
  • Must possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Must also possess excellent interpersonal skills.
