SUMMARY DESCRIPTION

The Storm-water Maintenance Worker is a full-time non-exempt, non-Civil Service position. Under supervision, the Storm-water Maintenance Worker performs semi-skilled labor in the maintenance, operation, and repair of the City’s storm-water system; and maintains all vehicles and equipment used. This position is part of a bargaining unit represented by the American Federation of State County and Municipal Employees (AFSCME) Local 120.

Promotion to Stormwater Maintenance Worker II typically requires at least one (1) year of satisfactory work as a Stormwater Maintenance Worker I, along with completion of other requirements as outlined the published job description found on the City of Orting website.
